Tiger Optics Unveils Lasertrace 3x for Semiconductor Industry
Warrington, PA (August 16, 2012) – Tiger Optics LLC today introduced its LaserTrace 3xTM analyzer for advanced chipmakers requiring heightened monitoring of moisture, a contaminant and source of oxygen that interferes with deposition processes. Tiger’s new moisture analyzer permits process engineers to simultaneously monitor as many as four process chambers at pressures below 50 torr. Operated by a single electronic module, the LaserTrace 3x is an exceptionally efficient device that also saves money and precious space in the cleanroom environment.
Tiger Optics Introduces the HALO-KA™ Analyzer
San Francisco, CA (July 10, 2012) – Caught between shrinking margins and shrinking geometries, today’s semiconductor fabricators and their suppliers have reason to rejoice, at least when it comes to gas analysis. At this week’s Semicon West show, Tiger Optics LLC, known for its innovative laser-based analyzers, is unveiling an affordable new tool that can detect traces of contaminants to 200 parts-per-trillion levels in an ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas stream.
Tiger Optics’ LASERTRACE 3™ Wins 2012 Golden Gas Award
Warrington, PA (March 8, 2012) – Tiger Optics LLC, a leading manufacturer of laser-based trace gas analyzers, today announced that its advanced LaserTrace 3TM has won the Golden Gas Award from Gases & Instrumentation International Magazine in the Gas Analysis & Detection category. It is the third such honor bestowed on Tiger Optics since the 2008 debut of the annual competition.
Tiger Optics Joins Hunt for Ghostly Neutrino Particles
Warrington, PA (December 21, 2011) – Neutrinos, the tiny particles unrecognized by man until the past century, are tantalizing in their elusiveness and promise. Scientists are constructing huge, elaborate traps in the race to observe the sub-atomic particles that may unlock secrets of our universe. Tiger Optics LLC, a leading maker of trace-gas analyzers, is contributing its expertise to the effort.
Internationaler Vergleich der Standards zur Feuchtemessung: Tiger Optics LaserTrace bewährt sich bei EURAMET
Warrington, PA, 27.
Tiger Optics Instruments Complete Breakthrough Study
Warrington, PA (October 12, 2011) – When four of the world’s leading national metrology labs took the bold step of comparing their primary moisture standards, the tool of choice -- a Tiger Optics LaserTrace -- performed admirably. Measurements deviated less than 2 percent over the course of the three-year, multinational inter-comparison, thereby permitting the facilities to establish a much-needed baseline for future work. The groundbreaking study -- undertaken by the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET) -- relied solely upon the company’s LaserTrace, along with a back-up compact HALO instrument, also from Tiger Optics.
Tiger Optics Names Manager for New Environmental Unit
Warrington, PA (July 5, 2011) – Tiger Optics LLC today announced that Graham Leggett has joined the company as product manager of its environmental division. Dr. Leggett brings more than 15 years of experience in gas analysis, ranging from research science at the United Kingdom’s National Physical Laboratory, to the measurements of specialty gases in semiconductor manufacturing and environmental applications.
Tiger Optics Advances Market Leadership with Lasertrace 3™
Warrington, PA (June 20th, 2011) – Tiger Optics LLC, continuing to expand the capabilities of its patented CW-CRDS technology, today announced plans to introduce the LaserTrace 3TM trace gas analyzer at the Semicon West trade show in San Francisco. The LaserTrace 3 can detect moisture, oxygen, methane, and other analyte contaminants at limits that are more than two times (2X) lower than previous generations of the product line.
