HALO OK: NEW ADVANCE FOR HYDROGEN SAFETY
Tiger Optics' HALO OK analyzer requires only about 10 sccm utility hydrogen for trace oxygen analysis. The HALO OK already ensures Hydrogen Safety through the following design features:
- Fixed internal flow orifice for utility hydrogen
- Dilution of hydrogen by 1 slpm sample gas flow
- Pressure alarm for utility hydrogen if flow to analyzer drops
- Safe limit on maximum catalytic converter temperature
Now, for customers seeking even lower hydrogen use, our HALO OK can now use a hydrogen source as low as 3% hydrogen in nitrogen.
The LEL (Low Explosion Limit) for hydrogen is 4% in air (and higher in inert gases). By utilizing 3% hydrogen in nitrogen as the utility gas, even assuming a catastrophic leak, the hydrogen concentration will NEVER APPROACH 4% in the surrounding environment.
Together with the existing safety techniques, Tiger Optics assures 100% Hydrogen Safety for our HALO OK trace O2 analyzer.
